As part of the Westbury on Trym Organ Recital Series, Owain performs a programme on the newly restored organ, including works by Bach, Karg-Elert and Messiaen. Owain’s ‘Méditation’ is also performed. 17th December 2011, recital at 10.45am.
Owain gave a lunchtime recital as part of the Wells Cathedral Lunchtime Recital Series. The programme included Karg Elert’s ‘Sequence in a minor, Frank’s ‘Pièce Heroique’ and Messiaen’s “Dieu Parmi Nous’.
Owain is currently away with a small group of Wells Cathedral School students, teaching and performing over Sierra Leone (read more here). On the Monday he gave an organ recital in St George’s Cathedral, Freetown.
