17th May 2011: ‘Let thine heart keep my commandments’ première

Owain’s composition, ‘Let thine heart keep my commandments’, was selected as one of the finalists of the King James Bible Composition Awards 2011. The piece, for SATB choir, piano and oboe, was performed on the 17th May in Temple Church, London, by the Royal College of Music Junior Department Chamber Choir, at 6.00pm. It was a wonderful concert of exciting new choral music, delivered superbly by conductor Joy Hill and accompanist Daniel Moult; a recording of the concert will be appearing in an episode of BBC Radio 3’s ‘The Choir’ on the 12th June.
