Owain accompanies Sophie Gallagher and Xavier Hetherington in a Christmas concert for voice and piano. As well as works by Mozart, Fauré and Bellini, Owain’s ‘Away in a Manger‘ is premiered; the combination being Soprano, Tenor and Piano.
As part of the St Andrew’s day 10am Eucharist, the Wells Cathedral Choristers, Choral Scholars and Wells Cathedral School Chapel Choir perform Owain’s ‘St Andrew’s Service‘ for the first time. Jonathan Vaughn, Organ; Matthew Owens, Conductor.
The Wells Cathedral School Chapel Choir premiere Owain’s setting of Thomas Campion’s words, ‘View me Lord‘, as part of their evening service in Wells Cathedral on the 16th October 2011; Owain conducts.
Owain has been awarded the Trinity College Cambridge Organ Scholarship, and, grades-dependent, will take this up in 2013, studying music.
