Owain is much in-demand as a conductor. He is Principal Guest Conductor of the BBC Singers and maintains a busy schedule of conducting projects with ensembles including the Southbank Sinfonia, Ensemble la Sportelle, and Cappella Cracoviensis. His own vocal consort, The Gesualdo Six, tours extensively around the world and has been praised for its interpretations of Renaissance and contemporary music.
Last year at the BBC Proms he conducted the BBC Singers in a selection of motets by Bruckner as a prelude to the Berlin Philharmonic’s performance of Bruckner’s Symphony No. 5 under Kiril Petrenko. He also conducted the BBC Symphony Orchestra in works by Anne Dudley and Iain Farrington as part of the ‘BBC Singers at 100’ celebrations at the Barbican.

Owain is a highly experienced vocal trainer and delivers tailored one-day choral/vocal workshops.
Owain has recently led workshops for Edinburgh University Chamber Choir, St Andrews Voices, BYU Singers, London Youth Choir, the choristers at Bath Abbey, and Singers from the University of São Paolo.
